Work packages - Deliverables

The project is divided into 5 main sections, as given below:

​WP-1 Characterization of raw materials (duration 0-6 months).

Deliverable: Market research report, final list of raw materials to be used, design and creation of an informative website about the project.

WP-2 Laboratory scale manufacturing and application of protective coating series on structural steel (duration 7-10 months).

Deliverable: Test results of protective coating properties. Conference work.

WP-3 Laboratory tests on coated structural steel (duration 11-18 months).

Deliverable: Report of results referring to final properties of protected steel by innovative products. Announcement in a scientific journal.

WP-4 Industrial application (duration 12-18 months)

Deliverable: Final construction steel type B500C coated by hybrid nanostructured anticorrosion coating. Results of chemical composition, comparative mechanical tests, geometric measurements, metallographic tests on steel type B500C with and without protective coating.

WP-5 Life cycle analysis (duration 15-18 months).

Deliverable: Life Cycle Analysis, report, and results.
